Princess Diana left how much to Prince William and Prince Harry?

Posted by Ram Kumar Shrestha on April 22, 2015

DianaPrincess Diana died almost 18 years ago, but her final wishes were never known publicly… until now.

A new British website called Probate Search has revealed not only Diana’s will, but 41 million other wills dating back to 1858. Diana’s will, naturally, is among the most interesting.

According to the “Today” show, Diana left close to $30 million to her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. She also instructed that her mother, Frances Shand Kydd, should be consulted about the boys’ education in the event of her death.

“She wanted to make sure [her children] were showered with love,” Robert Jobson, author of “The New Royal Family,” told “Today.” “That’s something she really agonized over when she split from Prince Charles. I think this will reflects that.”

SAS launches internal inquiry over sensational claim that elite regiment was behind deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed

  • Claim made by SAS sniper came to light in letter linked to Nightingale trial
  • Regiment fears that outlandish allegation could harm its reputation
  • Investigation launched into why vulnerable soldier was not dealt with

Claim: The allegation that Princess Diana was murdered by the SAS is under investigationClaim: The allegation that Princess Diana was murdered by the SAS is under investigation

The SAS has launched a probe into how claims that it was involved with Princess Diana’s death were made public, it emerged today.

Earlier this month an SAS sniper accused the service of assassinating Diana in 1997 and then covering up its actions, sparking a fresh round of conspiracy theories.

Military chiefs are now apparently investigating how the claim came to be made public amidst fears it could harm the reputation of the SAS.

The allegation that the service helped to kill Diana and her lover Dodi Al Fayed in a car crash in Paris surfaced in a letter linked to the trial of former sniper Danny Nightingale.

The document was written by the mother-in-law of ‘Soldier N’, Nightingale’s housemate, in September 2011 and sent to military prosecutors.

It came to the attention of the Metropolitan Police this month, and officers are now examining the information to see whether there is anything which merits investigation.

But Army bosses are said to be angry that the SAS has been dragged in to the controversy over Diana’s death, which has continued for more than a decade despite the official finding that the death was an accident.

A source close to General Sir Peter Wall, head of the Army, told the Daily Express that the incident was ‘the most embarrassing and potentially damaging event in the regiment’s 70-year history’.

The SAS is supposed to operate in secrecy, so any public discussion of the unit’s activities is likely to be poorly received by top brass. Read the rest of this entry »

Jump Into a Universe of Infinite Possibilities

Posted by Ram Kumar Shrestha on February 21, 2012

The abundant you. The inventor you. The creative you. In alternate universes, everything you desire may have already taken place. Tap into this infinite potential with Quantum Jumping.

And with an infinite number of them, it means that anything that can happen, does happen—in another universe. If this hypothesis is true, there is a universe where Obama never won the election and another where Princess Diana is still alive. There is a universe where you are the King of Scotland and a universe where you are a tea farmer in China. A universe where you are a celebrity musician, and one where you busk on a pavement for spare change.

What if science fiction became science?

Since the 1920’s, quantum physicists have been trying to make sense of an uncomfortable and startling possibility—that an infinite number of alternate universes exist.

Leading scientists like Stephen HawkingMichio Kaku and Neil Turok, all of whom are responsible for life-changing breakthroughs in the field of quantum physics, have all suggested the existence of multiple universes.

This jaw-dropping discovery was first made when, trying to pinpoint the exact location of an atomic particle, physicists found it was virtually impossible. It had no single location. In other words, atomic particles have the ability to simultaneously exist in more than one place at a time. The only explanation for this is that particles don’t only exist in our universe—They can spark into existence in an infinite number of parallel universes as well. And although these particles come to being and change in synchronicity, they are all slightly different. Read the rest of this entry »

Kate Middleton given Diana’s favourite earrings by Prince William

Posted by Ram Kumar Shrestha on July 24, 2011

PRINCE William has given a pair of his mother Princess Diana’s earrings to new wife Kate.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore the diamond and sapphire gems during the couple’s official visit to Canada and the US.

Kate, 29, had Diana’s heavy studs – which match her cluster engagement ring – remodelled into drop earrings. Kate wore them for the first time when she and Wills watched Andy Murray from the Royal Box at Wimbledon last month.

Diana, Princess of Wales would be 50 this week and her legacy of love lives on –

Posted by Ram Kumar Shrestha on June 26, 2011

Had she lived, Diana would be celebrating her 50th birthday on Friday.

And what a day it would have been. Diana was a woman born to the centre stage, a star that burned like phosphorus

Where she would be and what she would be doing is harder to judge. Always a stunning woman, she would, no doubt, be beautiful still. Living in America perhaps. Almost certainly remarried.

If Diana had not got into that car with Dodi Fayed on that dreadful night in Paris on August 31, 1997, the people would still have their princess. William and Harry would still have a mother. And the Duchess of Cambridge would today have a very different mother-in-law.

It is doubtful whether Charles would even have married Camilla.

LONDON — Years of fevered anticipation and premature speculation ended on Tuesday morning when Prince William, the heir to the heir to the British throne, said that, yes, he did plan to marry his girlfriend of many years, Kate Middleton.
In a brief statement, William’s father, Prince Charles, said that he was “delighted” to announce the engagement of William and Miss Middleton, both 28, and that they would be married next spring or summer.
“Prince William has informed the queen and other close members of his family,” the statement said. “Prince William has also sought the permission of Miss Middleton’s father.”
The statement added that the couple would live in north Wales, where William works as a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot for the Royal Air Force. The announcement ends the long and winding “Will he or won’t he?” saga that has provided years of diversion for royal enthusiasts and helped keep the royal-focused gossip industry afloat. It also renders obsolete Miss Middleton’s sometime tabloid nickname, “Waity Katie,” a reference to the notion that she has supposedly been waiting around for Prince William to propose.
